Quick and Easy Stencilling Hacks!
Valentine's Day is around the corner and everyone is in a flurry trying to decide what treats they should create to WOW all of the lovers (and lovers-to-be) out there!
Well to kick off the season to a start we have one stencilling hack done by Kerrie from Cookie Mommy (IG: @cookiemommy246) using one of our "Love is in the Air" stencils!
Kerrie's use of this stencilling technique is so simple yet so effective!
Simply flood your cookie with royal icing or cover it with fondant and when dry, airbrush a simple clod pattern for the background or give it a light airbrush around the edges.
When your airbrushed background is sufficiently dry, apply white royal icing using the stencil. (For this fondant lovers out there, royal icing is necessary for this step and the following step! Recipe can be found here)
Using the white stencil pattern as a guide, pipe and fill in the design using your choice of colour combinations.
