Royal Icing (with Meringue Powder)

Ingredients:

3 tablespoons meringue powder

6 tablespoons water

4 cups sifted confectioner's sugar

1 teaspoon extract (clear vanilla, lemon or almond)

 

Method:

1.Dissolve the meringue powder in the water and beat with a whisk attachment until frothy and soft peaks have formed.

2. Gradually add the confectioner's sugar and mix until it reaches the desired consistency.

3. Add extract and mix thoroughly.
